PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable herbicide application cover that simply changes a topical application for accurately weeding weeds between crops to a general application of wide range while fixing a covering as it is, eliminates a cover control and has no risk of losing it.SOLUTION: The cover to be attached to a nozzle 5 for herbicide application has a structure in which the cover comprises a stretchable cover body 1 and a cover storage body 2 and the cover storage body 2 is equipped with a shrinkage retention means 3. A trumpet-like cover body in which a plurality of movable tapered tubes 11 successively enlarging from inside to outside are concentrically arranged or a bellows body in which a spiral spring is arranged on an outer periphery is preferable as the cover body 1 and the cover body 1 is preferably transparent or translucent. A return mouth edge 1a is preferably arranged inside the tip of the cover body 1 and the shrinkage retention means 3 is preferably made into a retention piece capable of pressing the end face of shrunk cover body 1 and is equipped with a latching member 7 to nip the retention piece.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は作物と作物の間にある雑草を的確に除草する局所散布と一般的な広範囲の散布との切換えが、カバーを取付けたままで簡単に行え、カバーの管理が不要であると共にその紛失の恐れもない伸縮可能な除草剤散布カバーを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】除草剤散布用のノズル5に取付けるカバーを、伸縮可能なカバー本体1とカバー収納体2とから成し、該カバー収納体2に収縮保持手段3を設けた構造とする。またカバー本体1として、内側から順次大きくなる複数の可動テーパー筒11を同芯円状に配置させたラッパ状もの、或いは外周に螺旋状のスプリングを配置させた蛇腹体とすると良く、カバー本体1を透明或いは半透明とするのが好ましい。又、カバー本体1の先端部の内側に戻り口縁1aを設けると良く、収縮保持手段3として、収縮したカバー本体1の端面を押圧可能な保持片と成し、その保持片が挟持される掛止部材7を具備すると良い。【選択図】図1
