[PROBLEMS] To provide a mouth refreshing composition comprising both a refrigerant having an affinity for lipid and a sweetening agent which has excellent texture and stability (i.e., precipitate-free good appearance) and which is excellent in the persistency of refreshingness and in the balance between sweetness and refreshingness (i.e., in taste). [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A mouth refreshing composition which comprises (A) a medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride, (B) a dipeptide type sweetening agent, and (C) at least one refrigerant selected from the group consisting of menthol and derivatives thereof, peppermint essential oil, and eucalyptus essential oil and in which the content of the sweetening agent (B) in the composition is 0.5 to 5% by weight and that of the refrigerant (C) therein is 10 to 35% by weight.
