Patient system (1) comprises a first patient device (2) for wearing on the patient body and a separate second patient device (4). Each patient device has a communication module for data transfer. The first patient device has a data processing module for communicating with an operating unit for the first patient device. The second patient device represents the operating unit for the first patient device. An independent claim is also included for a process for operating the above patient system.
