Also provided is a method of treating a subject disease or condition using the compound at a site that is not exposed to atmospheric ozone. Further provided is a method for determining internal ozonolysis in a subject using the compound. In addition, molecules of less than 1000 mW are provided that have double bonds that react with ozone and that react with ozone to form nontoxic compounds.
