The cultivation apparatus 1 according to the present invention is provided with: a liquid culture medium storage vessel 10, of which the upper surface is opened and in which a liquid culture medium can be stored; a culture medium holding vessel 40, which is connected to the liquid culture medium storage vessel 10 so as to cover the opened upper surface of the liquid culture medium storage vessel 10 and in which a culture medium can be contained; a sprinkling line 31 for sprinkling the liquid culture medium stored in the liquid culture medium storage vessel 10 onto the culture medium holding vessel 40; and a liquid feeding pump 30 for feeding the liquid culture medium to the sprinkling line 31.
