PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional cell structure manufacturing apparatus that is capable of efficiently forming a three dimensional structure of cells.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional cell structure 3 comprises: a cell accommodator (accommodation plate 5) for accommodating a cell mass a support 7 having a plurality of needle-like bodies penetrating through the above cell mass a suction nozzle 9 for sucking and holding the cell mass and a nozzle-moving means 10 for moving the suction nozzle 9. The three-dimensional cell structure comprises a plurality of the suction nozzles 9 and a plurality of the supports 7. The three-dimensional cell structure also comprises: a plurality of support moving means 12 for moving each support 7 and a needle-tip recognition means (upper camera 41) for recognizing the required tip position of the needle-like body of the plurality of the supports 7.
