A method for calculating a quantitative value of a metal artifact for a CT image and generating a CT image using the calculated value is disclosed. The disclosed method for measuring a metal artifact of a CT image includes the steps of: generating photon number information by a measurement angle using x-ray data measured by rotating an object to be measured； separating a high frequency component and a low frequency component of the photon number information； and generating the quantitative value of the metal artifact for the CT image using the magnitude change of the high frequency component and the low frequency component.CT 영상에 대한 금속 인공물 정량 수치를 계산하고, 이를 이용하여 CT 영상을 생성하는 방법이 개시된다. 개시된 CT 영상의 금속 인공물 측정 방법은 측정 대상을 회전하며 측정한 엑스레이 데이터를 이용하여, 측정 각도별 광자 개수 정보를 생성하는 단계； 상기 광자 개수 정보에 대한 고주파 성분 및 저주파 성분을 분리하는 단계； 및 상기 고주파 성분 및 저주파 성분의 매그니튜드 변화를 이용하여, CT 영상에 대한 금속 인공물 정량 수치를 생성하는 단계를 포함한다.
