PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the aspect of metamorphosis of a beetle from a larva to a chrysalis or from the chrysalis to an adult insect can hardly be observed in a conventional box-shaped case, and the raising, and that observation in an observation case having a narrowed width of the case are difficult because the amount of a beetle larva-raising mat in the case is too little because a long period of 15 to 24 months is required for the growth of Dynastes hercules, Chalcosoma atlas, Dynastes neptunus or Megasoma from the larva to the adult insect.SOLUTION: The case for raising and observing the beetle is a case (2) having a convex part protruded downward from the bottom surface of a conventional box-shaped transparent case body. The raising and observation of the large beetle over a long period are enabled by combining the case (2) for raising and observing the beetle with a container having a concave shape and made from a material having heat-insulation effect and capable of blocking light.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の箱型の飼育ケースではカブト虫の幼虫からさなぎ、さなぎから成虫になる様子が見えづらい。またケースの幅を狭くした観察ケースではヘラクレスオオカブトムシ、アトラスオオカブトムシ、ネプチューンオオカブトムシ、ゾウカブトムシは幼虫から成虫になるまで15ヶ月から24ヶ月もの長い期間がかかる為、ケースの中のカブト虫幼虫飼育マットの量が少なすぎる。よって飼育観察が難しい。【解決手段】従来の箱型の透明ケース本体の底面から下に突出した凸を有するケース(2)の飼育観察ケースを提供する。さらに、飼育観察ケース(2)に凹の形をした断熱効果と光を遮断できる物質で出来た容器を組み合わせて、大型のカブト虫の長期期間の飼育と観察を可能にする。【選択図】 図1―1―
