A device for inactivating or reducing an amount of biological contaminants in human milk comprises an interior for taking in human milk to be treated in order to inactivate or reduce the amount of biological contaminants, and at least one UV lamp (5) for irradiating the milk being in the interior in order to subject it to the treatment. The treatment is a first function of the device, wherein the device has a second function, the device being capable of fulfilling the first function at the same time as the second function, wherein the second function is one ore more of milk expressing, milk collecting, milk storing, milk warming, milk feeding, milk processing and milk handling.
