Ultrasonic imaging systems comprise an array of N transducer elements that emit ultrasonic pulses with characteristic flight times to focal points within the object to be inspected. The present invention calculates a virtual array equivalent in flight times to the array of N elements, where each element belonging to the array of N virtual elements is calculated from the coordinates of two foci F {sub, A} and F {sub, B }, both located on a main ray, and from the equation: t {sub, K} = t {sub, CF} + t {sub, FA} - t {sub, BF} - t {sub, FV} where t {sub, CF}, t {sub, FA}, t {sub, BF}, t {sub, FV} are the characteristic flight times, and t {sub, K} is a constant independent of the position of the focal point.Método para el control en tiempo real del enfoque dinámico en sistemas de imagen ultrasónica y dispositivo calculador de adelanto de muestreo asociado al mismo.#La presente invención divulga un dispositivo y un método que realizan la focalización dinámica en sistemas de imagen ultrasónica, aplicables a inspecciones con presencia de un medio de acoplamiento entre el transductor y la parte inspeccionada.
