PURPOSE: A steam generator for a steamed dish is provided to simultaneously cook two kinds of food using steam supplied toward top and side. CONSTITUTION: A steam generator for a steamed dish comprises a lower body(19), an upper cover(22), and a steam supplying unit. An evaporation tank(10) for storing water is installed inside the lower body. The upper cover covers the top end of the evaporation tank and the lower body. A through hole(23) is formed inside the upper cover and guides steam generated from the evaporation tank to outside. The steam supplying unit is installed through the through hole of the upper cover and supplies steam to two or more kinds of food.본 발명은 찜용 증기발생장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 3방향 밸브를 이용하여 증발조에서 발생된 증기를 상방향과 측방향으로 분기시킴으로써, 상방향으로 공급되는 증기와 측방향으로 분기되는 증기에 의해 두가지 종류의 찜 대상물을 병행하여 찔 수 있는 찜용 증기발생장치에 관한 것이다.이를 위해, 본 발명은 물을 저장하기 위한 내부공간을 갖는 증발조가 내부에 설치된 하부본체； 상기 하부본체 및 증발조의 상단부를 커버하며, 상기 증발조에서 발생된 증기를 외부로 유도하기 위해 내부에 관통공이 형성된 상부덮개； 상기 상부덮개의 관통공에 걸쳐 설치된 3방향 밸브； 상기 증발조에 저장된 물을 가열하기 위해 증발조의 내부에 장착된 가열봉을 포함하는 찜용 증기발생장치를 제공한다.
