PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively reducing bacteria and nematodes proliferating in cultivated soil in a cultivation bed and further reducing growth-inhibiting components such as excessive fertilizers and salt, and to provide a cultivation bed for use in the method, and a method for cultivating field crops and paddy crops using the cultivation bed.SOLUTION: The cultivation bed is structured to store cultivated soil in a tank including a water-impermeable bottom part and a water-impermeable frame body and to allow filling of water on the cultivated soil and drainage of water from the cultivated soil. In the cultivation bed, water is filled for a predetermined period, and then water is drained from the cultivated soil to dry the cultivation bed. In a preferable cultivation bed, a bottom part is inclined to improve drainage of water from the cultivated soil, and a corner part of the frame body or a part of the frame body on the bottom side can be opened.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】栽培床の耕土中で増殖する細菌や線虫、更には余剰肥料や塩分などの成育妨害成分を有効に低減させる方法や、該方法に使用する栽培床及びこれを利用した畑作物や水田作物の栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】不透水性の底部と不透水性の枠体から構成される槽内に耕土を収容し、耕土上への水張りと耕土からの水抜きができるようにした栽培床において、一定期間水張りし、次いで耕土の水抜きをして栽培床を乾燥させる。好ましい栽培床は、耕土からの水抜きを良好にするために底部に傾斜を設け、且つ枠体コーナー部或いは低くなった底部側の枠体の一部を開放可能にする。【選択図】 図6
