PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper which conveys information that it looks like a clothing without the signs clearly viewed like a diaper (e.g., a discontinuous part at the waist).SOLUTION: A disposable absorbent article can include a chassis, an absorbent core 28, a pair of elastically extensible lug parts 42 and a pair of coupling tabs 52. The elastically extensible lug parts and coupling tabs have horizontal shafts. The lug part is connected with the chassis so that the horizontal axis of the coupling tab can be placed at a specific position of an article. The absorbent core does not include cellulose fiber. In the lug parts, an upper edge part 142 and a lower edge part 242 of the lug part are asymmetric with respect to the horizontal axis of the lug part. In the coupling tabs, the upper edge part, the lower edge part and the horizontal axis are included, the upper edge part and the lower edge part respectively have proximal ends. The upper edge part and the lower edge part of the coupling tab are asymmetric with respect to the horizontal axis of the coupling tab.
