A composition comprises (i) chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof； (ii) niacinamide or niacin； and (iii) salicylic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or derivative thereof. The compositions may be for use in treating and preventing disorders of the skin, particularly bacterial dermatoses, such as acne vulgaris associated with a Propionibacterium acnes infection. The compositions are also provided in the form of cosmetic products. A textile cloth, wipe, pad or face mask may be impregnated with the composition.
