The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating periodontitis containing a photosensitizer. Since the composition can effectively deliver the photosensitizer to gingival sulcus where drug can hardly be delivered due to a complicated anatophysiological structure, the composition can effectively be applied for treating periodontitis by activating the photosensitizer using a light-emitting device (LED).본 발명은 광 증감제를 포함하는 치주염 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 상기 조성물은 복잡한 해부생리학적 구조로 인하여 약물의 전달이 어려운 치은구에 광 증감제를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있으므로, LED 통해 광 증감제를 활성화 시켜 치주염을 치료하는데 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다.
