PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidative hair dye composition, which keeps a difference in finish of hair dyeing due to the length of hair-coloring treatment time small, and can finish to a predetermined color even without strict compliance with the hair-coloring treatment time.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided an oxidative hair dye composition comprising an oxidizing agent (A), an iodide (B), and an oxidation dye (C). Here, the oxidation dye (C) comprises a meta-aminophenol (c1). The content of the (c1) meta-aminophenol is 0.05% by mass or more. Thus, a difference in finish of hair dyeing due to the length of hair-coloring treatment time can be kept small.
