<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal in a hypothermic state reflecting the disturbance of a lifestyle habit. <；P>；SOLUTION: The hypothermic model animal is prepared by limiting a diet in an active period of a non-human animal such as a rat, a mouse, a guinea pig, a hamster, or a rabbit for a period of time of &ge；10 days. A method for preparing the hypothermic model animal is characterized by limiting the diet in the active period of the non-human animal.
