PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair in which, when an armrest part is flip-up turned from a horizontal use position to a backward flip-up position around a turning support shaft, a lift shaft lowers by action of a cam mechanism, a floating wheel comes in contact with a ground surface by the lowering action, and after that, further lowering of the floating wheel allows the supporting wheel to perform floating action from the ground contact surface, and the supporting wheel can be freely turned, consequently, the supporting wheel can be easily positioned with respect to a specific separating position for forming an open space necessary for getting on and off a seat part.SOLUTION: The wheelchair includes a floating mechanism 10. As the floating mechanism 10, a supporting member 11 is provided in a frame 1, an armrest part 4 is provided in the supporting member in a freely flip-up turnable manner by a turning support shaft 12, a lift shaft 13 is provided in the support member in a freely liftable manner, the floating wheel 14 is attached to a lower part of the lift shaft, and a cam mechanism 15 is provided which floats the supporting wheel 6 from the ground contact surface by lowering the lift shaft in conjunction with flip-up turning of the armrest part to bring the floating wheel 14 into contact with the ground contact surface M.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】肘掛部を回動支持軸を中心として水平使用位置から後方跳上位置へと跳上回動すると、カム機構の作用により昇降軸は下降し、下降動作により上記浮上車輪は接地面に接地した後、さらなる浮上車輪の下降により支持車輪を接地面から浮上動作させることになり、支持車輪の自由回転が可能となり、支持車輪を上記座部に対する乗り降りに必要な開放空間を形成するための特定の分離位置に容易に位置決めすることができる。【解決手段】浮上機構10として、フレーム1に支持部材11を設け、支持部材に肘掛部4を回動支持軸12により跳上回動自在に設け、支持部材に昇降軸13を昇降自在に設け、昇降軸の下部に浮上車輪14を取付け、肘掛部の跳上回動に連動して昇降軸を下降させて浮上車輪を接地面Mに接地させることにより支持車輪6を接地面から浮上動作させるカム機構15を設けてなる。【選択図】図1
