An ophthalmic surgical apparatus (1) supplies perfusion solution into a patient's eye (E) from a perfusion solution container (17) stored with the perfusion solution. The ophthalmic surgical apparatus (1) includes a perfusion passage (5), a non-positive displacement pump (50), a perfusion pressurizing motor (51), and a controller (40). The perfusion passage (5) introduces the perfusion solution in the perfusion solution container (17) to a surgical instrument which will be inserted in an eye. The non-positive displacement pump (50) provided in the perfusion passage (5) includes a blade-like rotor which is rotatable without shutting off the perfusion passage (5). The perfusion pressurizing motor (51) applies pressure to the perfusion solution by rotating the rotor. The controller (40) controls the drive to the perfusion pressurizing motor (51).
