PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method with which deformation of a container is avoided in sterilizing a bellows shaped container.SOLUTION: Provided is a sterilization method in which contents are accommodated in a container having a mouth and a bottom part and whose trunk part is shaped into a bellows, and in which the mouth is sealed and heated. Sterilization is performed in a state that a partial embodiment of the bellows is reversed. For example, the bottom part of the container is shaped to bulge downward, however, when sterilizing, the bottom part is reversed inward. The bottom part of the container has, for example, a spherical shape.
