The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, compositions containing aninhibitor of human complement and use ofthe compositions in methods for treating or preventing complement-associateddisorders. In some embodiments, the inhibitor ischronically administered to patients. In some embodiments, the inhibitor isadministered to a patient in an amount and with afre-quency to maintain systemic complement inhibition and preventbreakthrough.
