In a foot bandage for compression therapy of lymphedema on the foot, with asole section,side sections connected laterally to sole section, which are joined to eachother at least in asection that comes to lie above the heel when the foot bandage is applied, andat least adistal tab section made of an elastic material, which can be wound around theinstep andfastened to a side section in order to exert compression on the foot, in whichthe distal tabsection or each tab section has at least one pull tab on which fasteners arearranged, aproximal compression band made from elastic material fastenable removably tothe sidesections is provided. The compression band has at least a first fastener andis attached tothe side sections by means of the first fastener above the heel, when the footbandage isapplied in area.
