PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for pets that can be easily worn in the correct position when it is wound around the girth of a pet.SOLUTION: The absorbent article for pets includes a liquid-permeable front surface layer 2, a liquid-impermeable back surface layer 3, and an absorber 4 disposed between the front surface layer 2 and the back surface layer 3, and is in the form of a rectangle having a first end portion 11 and a second end portion 12 which are opposite to each other, and a pair of opposite side portions perpendicular to the first end portion 11 and the second end portion 12. With the absorbent article 1 wound around the girth of a pet, the first end portion 11 is disposed on the body side of the pet and the second end portion 12 is removably attached to the outer surface of the first end portion 11. The absorbent article 1 further includes elastic members 61, 62 disposed in an elongated state along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1.
