The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one fucosylated oligosaccharide, for use in preventing allergies and/or treating allergies and/or reducing the occurrence or the risk of allergies in an infant or a young child born from a mother deficient in at least one fucosylated oligosaccharide(s) or fed with a mother's milk deficient in at least one fucosylated oligosaccharide(s).
