The present invention refers to a food supplement for the therapy of surface and invasive cancer of the bladder that can take the form of an extract or the form of a decoction or the form of a tablet depending on the way of production that will be chosen either by the patient or the investor. Specifically the first product arises from the heat treatment of two thousand 2000 mgr. hazelnut shells which are boiled and strained with the purpose of producing an extract. The extract is placed within glass tubes or waterproof metal containers which are subjected to boiling (benmari) for a period of fifteen to twenty minutes and cooled in order to maintain the mixture. The final product as described above and in the quantity of 250 ml is to be drunk once a day for life. According to the second way of preparation the product arises by rubbing the hazelnut shells to powder and the previously mentioned thermal treatment of 50 gr. Powder in 250 ml water for direct consumption by the patient. The final product as described above in the quantity of 250 ml is to be drunk once a day for life. In the end according to the third way of preparation the product arises through the granulation of the hazelnut shells as in the second method and the granules are compressed into tablets. These tablets are covered with polyvinyl pyrolidone (p. v. p.) for the purpose of preventing the hardening of the enclosed with time. It is to be taken once a day for life. The basic advantage present preparation over the other plant based or chemical based drugs that circulate in the market for the fight against cancer is that hazelnut contains paclitaxel or taxol in cis trans form bound from the a and b tubulin in an equal number of molecule mixture.
