The present invention further relates to methods and compositions comprising at least one primo-administration of an attenuated immunogenic composition or vaccine, comprising a pharmaceutically or veterinarily acceptable excipient, diluent or vehicle and at least one attenuated Salmonella, administered to an avian animal before at least one boost-administration of an inactivated immunogenic composition or vaccine, comprising a pharmaceutically or veterinarily acceptable excipient, diluent or vehicle, and at least one inactivated Salmonella.
