Provided herein are synergistic herbicidal compositions containing and method for controlling undesirable vegetation utilizing (a) a compound of formula (I): or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) glufosinate-ammonium, glyphosate dimethylammonium, glyphosate isopropylammonium, glyphosate trimesium, glufosinate or glyphosate, or an agriculturally acceptable derivative thereof.
