An oral care composition comprising: a whitening agent, wherein the whitening agent is bound； an anionic surfactant present in an amount of 1.75 to 2.0 wt.% And an orally acceptable carrier having a total concentration of water from 0 to 4 wt.% And in which the water content in the composition for caring for the oral cavity is less than 4 wt.%. 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate. A composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the whitening agent is bound peroxide. The composition according to claim 3, wherein the bound peroxide compound is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen peroxide, alkali or alkaline earth metal peroxides, organic peroxide compounds, their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and mixtures thereof. The composition according to claim 4, wherein the bound peroxide is hydrogen peroxide and is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 2% by weight. The composition of claim 5, wherein the bound peroxide is hydrogen peroxide and is present in an amount of from 1 to 2% by weight. The composition according to claim 3, wherein the bound peroxide contains a peroxide compound and a cross-linked polymer. The composition of claim 7, wherein the crosslinked polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyacrylate, polyitaconates. The composition of claim 1, wherein the whitening agent is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 30% by weight. The composition of claim 1, wherein the anionic surfactant is present in an amount of 1.8 to 2% by weight.
