PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic system and a medical image diagnostic method capable of securing scalability of a server device without inviting degradation of an image display performance and coping with a large scale system.SOLUTION: A master server 1A includes: an input part for receiving examination data transmitted from a modality 3 a primary server determination part for determining a primary server a data transmission part for transmitting the examination data to the primary server and a holding period setting part for setting a holding period of the examination data. The primary server includes: a reception part for receiving the examination data a copy data generation part for generating copy data on the basis of the examination data and a transmission part for transmitting the generated copy data to other servers.
