A method of manufacturing a medical product having an engineered heparin bioactive matrix for clinical application on a blood contacting surface comprises: a) activating a blood contacting surface of at least one component of a medical device via one of plasma treatment or gas activation； b) assembling the medical product； c) Setting up medical device for wet chemistry in which wet chemistry treatments follows a blood flow path through device； d) enhancing at least the blood contacting surface with a wet chemistry treatment including an aqueous solution having a strong oxidizing agent, such as ammonium persulfate； e) adding a positively charged spacer molecule to at least the blood contacting surface with a wet chemistry treatment including an aqueous solution having a cationic polymer, such as PEI； and f) covalently immobilizing heparin to at least the blood contacting surface with a wet chemistry treatment including heparin, preferably deaminated heparin.La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un produit médical ayant une matrice bioactive d'héparine modifiée pour l'application clinique sur une surface de mise en contact avec le sang comprenant : a) l'activation d'une surface de mise en contact avec le sang d'au moins un composant d'un dispositif médical par l'intermédiaire de l'un du traitement plasma ou de l'activation gazeuse； b) l'assemblage du produit médical； c) le paramétrage du dispositif médical pour la chimie par voie humide dans lequel les traitements chimiques par voie humide suivent un trajet d'écoulement du sang à travers le dispositif； d) l'amélioration d'au moins la surface de mise en contact avec le sang avec un traitement chimique par voie humide comprenant une solution aqueuse ayant un agent oxydant fort, tel qu'un persulfate d'ammonium； e) l'addition d'une molécule espaceur positivement chargée à au moins la surface de mise en contact avec le sang avec un traitement chimique par voie humide comprenant une solution aqueuse aya
