Disclosed is an antibody that specifically binds to human sclerostin. The antibody comprises HCDR2, HCDR2 and HCDR3 having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 26, 27 and 28 respectively and the LCDR1, LCDR2 and LCDR3 having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 29, 30 and 31 respectively. The antibody can be used for increasing bone mass, bone mineral density, bone mineral content or bone strength in a human and to treat the diseases selected from osteoporosis, osteopenia, osteoarthritis, pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, periodontal disease or multiple myeloma in a human.
