PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breast tomography apparatus which can appropriately take in a subjects breast to an imaging area and can perform breast tomography and to provide a breast holding device used in the breast tomography apparatus.SOLUTION: The breast tomography apparatus includes: a gantry 6 including an opening inserted with a subjects breast a radiation source radiating a radiation ray and a radiation detection part detecting a radiation ray. The radiation ray is radiated while the radiation source and radiation ray detection part are rotated, thereby a tomographic image of the breast is captured in the breast tomography apparatus.
