<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support movement of an aged user in connection with his or her walking exercise. <；P>；SOLUTION: The movement support equipment 10 comprises a car body 11 and a driving device 12 for running the car body 11. The car body 11 is provided with a walking surface F on both right and left sides capable of motion backwards and driving wheels 20L and 20R whose rotation is driven by the driving device 12. The driving device 12 is provided with: first driving means 21L and 21R on both right and left sides for having the walking surface F on both right and left sides move independently of each other； right and left driving motors 22L and 22R for driving the respective driving wheels 20L and 20R rotatably； and a control means 30 for controlling the driving of them. The control means 30 controls driving of the driving motors 22L and 22R on the corresponding side in accordance with loads acting on the respective first driving means 21L and 21R.
