The method of claim 5, wherein the lung cancer is selected from small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. ! 7. A method according to any one of claims 1-4, wherein the cancer is small cell lung cancer and the chemotherapeutic agent is selected from etoposide, carboplatin, cisplatin, irinotecan, topotecan, gemcitabine, radiation therapy and combinations thereof. ! 8.
