PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image without an offset level difference even when reading a signal of a photoelectric conversion element by sequentially scanning a part of gates and then performing a scan operation for the remaining gates in a short time.SOLUTION: An X-ray plane detector has: a TFT array in which pixels each including a photoelectric conversion element and a switching element are arranged in a square lattice gate lines 31 provided for each row of the square lattice and connected to the switching elements and a gate control circuit 37 connected to the gate lines 31 and outputting a pulse-like control signal for switching the switching elements.
