The present invention relates to a packaging container for storing liquid jaggery as laminated collapsible tube. The laminate of the collapsible tube comprises an inner layer of linear low density natural polyethylene film a middle layer of aluminum foil and an outer layer of linear low density white polyethylene film. The container increases the shelf-life of liquid jaggery by 10 folds.
