The present invention relates to use of a compound of the present inventionor a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical compositioncomprising the compound or the salt, for the manufacture of a medicament forthetreatment of cachexia. The invention also relates to a method for thetreatment ofcachexia, comprising administering the compound of the present invention or apharmaceutical composition comprising the same to a human or an animal. Theinvention further relates to use of said compound, or a pharmaceuticallyacceptablesalt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound or thesalt,in combination with one or more second active agents. Moreover, the inventionrelates to a pharmaceutical composition and a kit comprising the compound ofthepresent invention or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for thetreatment ofsaid disease.
