PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid for dogs, which is the simple and low cost walking aid for the rehabilitation of a dog and urges voluntary walking motion by maintaining a natural walking state as much as possible by enabling the adjustment of body weight-holding power suitably corresponding to the part and level of disorder and disease of the dog for which although having an obstacle in walking by disorders such as hip joint dislocation etc., excessive obesity and so on, the recovery of walking capacity is expected by a suitable exercise etc., while suitably holding its body weight on extremities, especially on hind legs to reduce burden.SOLUTION: The walking aid for dogs is constituted by a main frame consisting of the 4 pieces of supporting legs having rotatable wheels and a horizontal member, the 4 pieces of strands engaging with a harness attached with the body of the dog at a shoulder part and a pelvic part to hang the body of the dog, and a constant loading mechanism holding the strands by a withdrawing force caused by a spiral spring, and capable of adjusting the hanging force optionally corresponding to the levels of body weight of the dog and disorder by enabling the setting of the withdrawing force of the constant loading mechanism optionally.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 股関節脱臼等の障害や過度の肥満等により歩行に支障があるものの、適切な運動等により歩行能力の回復が見込める犬のために、四肢、特に後肢に掛かる体重を適切に保持して負担を軽減しつつ、出来る限り自然な歩行状態を維持させて自発的な歩行運動を促すリハビリ用歩行補助具であって、犬の障害や疾患の部位・程度に応じて体重保持力を適宜任意に調整可能とする簡易かつ低コストな歩行補助具を提供する。【解決手段】 旋回可能な車輪を有する4本の支持脚及び水平部材から成る本体フレームと、犬の身体に装着したハーネスに肩部と骨盤部にて係合して犬の身体を懸吊する4本の索条と、ぜんまいバネによる引込力で前記索条を保持する定荷重機構とから構成し、前記定荷重機構の引込力を任意に設定可能とすることにより、犬の体重及び支障の程度に応じて懸吊力を任意に調節可能とした犬の歩行補助具。【選択図】図4
