The invention, in various embodiments, is directed to systems, devices, andmethods relating to pre-pubic approaches to delivering a supportive sling toperiurethral tissue of a patient. The sling delivery system comprises adelivery device (300) having a conical tip(304) and a constant outsidediameter of less than about 0.63 cm. The shaft (302) extends distably betweenabout 17 and about 23cm. Preferably the system comprises a pusher assembly(330) slidably fifted over the shaft. The sling (102) may include a protectivesleeve (104) for covering preferably including a gap (110) exposing a portionof the supportive sling.
