PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for hair quality improvement having good temporal stability, which can impart firmness/resilience feeling to hair, facilitate giving voluminous feeling in styling, and also impart excellent touch feeling and flexibility to hair.SOLUTION: A composition for quality improvement comprises (A) one or more kinds selected from the metal salt compound group consisting of zinc acetate, zinc gluconate, zinc chloride, zinc lactate and magnesium acetate and also comprises (B) one or more kinds selected from &alpha-olefin oligomer, light liquid isoparaffin, liquid isoparaffin and squalane and (C) dimethylpolysiloxane.
