A catheter having an elongated lumen extending along a longitudinal axis, includes: an inner layer member having an inner circumferential surface in contact with the lumen； an outer layer member having an outer circumferential surface of the catheter； a first reinforcing member having a shape of coil, provided outside the inner layer member, between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface； and a second reinforcing member having a shape of braid, provided outside the first reinforcing member, between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface. According to this technique, rigidity, pushability, torque transmission performance, and kink resistance of the catheter can be ensured while the thickness of the catheter is kept small.
