The invention relates to an agrochemical composition containing a compound of formula (1), a glutamic acid compound, and a source of magnesium and/or a source of iron. The exemplified compounds of formula (I) are diphenylthiourea and diphenylurea. The exemplified Mg/Fe sources are magnesium sulfate and iron sulfate. The exemplified glutamic acid compound is ɣ-polyglutamic acid. The composition may include one or more agrochemically acceptable excipients. Also claimed is the use of a glutamic acid compound or a compound of formula (I) or a compound of formula (I) with a source of magnesium/iron to increase crop productivity, quality or physiological characteristics, to increase the level of chlorophyll in plants, to increase the phytosynthethic rate of plants and increase the rate of absorption of magnesium and/or iron in plants.
