PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more compact and inexpensive transcranial magnetic stimulation system that allows a patient to perform a transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment continuously and repeatedly on a daily basis at home, at his or her regular medical institution in the neighborhood, etc. with ease of handling and operation, without requiring a special skill.SOLUTION: In a transcranial magnetic stimulation system 1a having magnetic field generation means for generating a magnetic field to apply a magnetic stimulus to a specific region of the head of a patient M, the magnetic field generation means includes a magnetic coil 2 for generating a dynamic magnetic field, and a holder 10a for holding the magnetic coil 2. The holder 10a includes positioning parts 12 and 14 for positioning the holder 10a for markings 32 and 34 provided to the head of the patient M. By positioning the positioning parts 12 and 14 for the markings 32 and 34 of the head of the patient M, the coil 2 can be set to an appropriate posture with respect to the specific region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】熟練を要することなく、簡単な取り扱いや操作で患者が自宅や近所のかかりつけの医療機関等で日常的に継続反復して経頭蓋磁気刺激療法を行えることができ、且つ、より小型で安価な経頭蓋磁気刺激システムを提供する。【解決手段】患者Ｍの頭部の特定部位に磁気刺激を加えるための磁場を発生させる磁場発生手段を有する経頭蓋磁気刺激システム１ａにおいて、磁場発生手段は、動磁場を発生する磁気コイル２と、磁気コイル２を保持するホルダ１０ａを有し、ホルダ１０ａは、ホルダ１０ａを患者Ｍの頭部に設けられたマーキング３２，３４に対して位置決めするための位置決め部１２，１４を備えている。患者Ｍの頭部のマーキング３２，３４に対して位置決め部１２，１４を位置合わせすることにより、コイル２を前記特定部位に対して適正な姿勢に設定できるようにした構成とする。【選択図】図２
