PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layer coated tablet and a production method thereof to solve the printing troubles, such as poor coloring or poor discrimination, which occurs in a coated tablet containing a high concentration of a discoloration-inducing oxide in a coating layer, in printing of the coated tablet by a UV laser marking device.SOLUTION: The two-layer coated tablet and the production method thereof according to the invention solves the printing troubles by a UV laser marking device by coating a little amount of polymers as a second layer on the surface of the coated tablet containing a high amount of the discoloration-inducing oxide which causes the printing troubles.
