PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic which gives slipperiness, softness and dry touch, when hair making is finished, to provide a cosmetic dispersion used for the cosmetics, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a method for producing a hair cosmetic.SOLUTION: Provided is the method for producing the hair cosmetic, comprising the following processes 1 and 2. The process 1: a process for mixing, heating and dissolving the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) a cationic surfactant, (B) an aromatic sulfonic acid or its salt, and (C) water in a component (A)/compound (B) molar ratio of 0.8 to 1.2 and then cooling the solution to obtain the dispersion.
