The present invention relates to an apparatus to insert a film for preventing water leakage in a ridge between paddies. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a cutting unit inserted inside a ridge between paddies, and forming a film insertion groove capable of inserting a film inside the ridge between paddies while moving along the ridge between paddies by an excavator a film feeding unit combined with one side of the cutting unit along the cutting unit, having a film insertion slot into which the film is inserted in one end part, having a film discharge slot from which the film is discharged at the other end, and having, inside, a film moving passage to guide the film inserted through the film insertion slot in order to move the film from one side to the other side while being not interfered by the soil of the ridge between paddies a film feeding unit installed on a front side of the cutting unit to feed the film to the film insertion slot of the film moving unit and an arm mounting unit installed on one side of the cutting unit in order to mount an arm of the excavator for moving the cutting unit.
