PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus having a jacket-less structure of possessing no jacket for air permeation channels and unlikely to entail leaks of exhaust gases or short paths.SOLUTION: The partition unit 14 configured on the circumferential wall portion 1a of a rotary drum 1 comprises a base 14a fixed to the inner circumference of the circumferential wall portion 1a and a seal member 14b fitted to the base 14a in a state where its inward movement away from and outward movement toward the circumferential plane of the circumferential wall portion 1a are permitted.
