A method for identifying a plant comprising at least one determinant of resistance of a soybean plant variety to a Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN), wherein said method comprises: isolating nucleic acid molecules from the plant； sparking isolated nucleic acid molecules to detect a marker linked to an SCN-resistant phenotype of a given soybean variety or equivalent, where the marker is genetically linked to a marker selected from the group consisting of NCSB_004074, BARC_010889_01691 and rhg1-3995, and the presence of the marker is a sign of at least one determinant of resistance to SCN in soybean varieties. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the marker linked to an SCN-resistant phenotype of soybean variety, or an equivalent thereof, is in the adhesion group (LG) of the soybean selected from the group consisting of LG G, LG A, LG Bi, and LG I.3.
