PURPOSE: An automatic speed control type walker is provided to be capable of automatically braking and travelling, and to be manually operated when the walker is braked. CONSTITUTION: An automatic speed control type walker includes a handle and a sensor unit(520) that checks the traveling speed of one side of a wheel among at least three wheels which are mounted on a frame of the walker(500). The frame is connected with a braking unit(540) which is installed in order to correspond to a brake drum that is connected to the wheels. The sensor unit and the braking unit are connected with a control unit(560). The control unit is equipped with a manipulation part which is input with a preset speed, and which adds or subtracts the power that is transmitted to the braking unit in proportion to the speed.본 발명은 보행기의 주행속도를 체크하면서 주행시 미리 입력되는 주행속도 이상일 경우 주행속도에 따라 마찰력을 증가시키도록 자동 브레이크 장치를 설치하여 노약자나 재활을 원하는 장애인등의 보행속도를 일정하게 유지할 수 있도록 하는 자동속도 제어형 보행기에 관한 것이다.
