PURPOSE: A method for breeding new varieties of Cymbidium, Babocy-GF1, is provided to enable easy cultivation and to enhance ornamental value. CONSTITUTION: A new varieties of Cymbidium, Babocy-GF1 is prepared by interspecies cross between Cymbidium 'Sun dust' as a mother plant and Cymbidium 'Cheolgol sosim' as a father plant. The Cymbidium has characteristics of: green leaf color, average leaf luster, about 40 cm of leaf length, about 1.2 cm of leaf width, 3-4 leaves, yellow flower color, flowering on March to May, no virus, and high product uniformity.본 발명은 심비디움 신품종 바보시-지에프1 및 그 육종방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 심비디움(Cymbidium) 신품종 "바보시-지에프1(Babocy-GF1)"은 모본(♀)인 Cymbidium 'Sun dust'와 본(♂)인 Cymbidium '철골소심'의 종간 교잡에 의해 수득되고, 잎의 색은 녹색이며 잎의 광택은 보통이며, 잎의 형태는 직립형, 잎의 길이는 40㎝ 내외, 엽폭은 1.2 cm 내외, 잎의 수는 3~4장, 화색은 노랑, 꽃향기가 있으며, 개화시기는 3~5월 및 9~10월로써 년 2회의 특성을 갖고 있다.본 발명에 의해, 재배 및 관리가 용이하며, 향기를 가지고 있고, 화색이 노랑색으로 밝고 선명하여 관상적 가치가 높아 상품성으로도 가치가 있는 심비디움 신품종이 제공된다.
